Job Description

Seller Acquisition Executive – JioMart

📍 Location: Field-based (PAN India)

🕒 Employment Type: Full-time | On-ground Sales | Target-driven

GIG Summary:

We are looking for dynamic, self-driven individuals with excellent communication and field sales skills to join our Seller Acquisition team at JioMart. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, approach, and onboard businesses interested in selling their products on the JioMart platform. If you're curious about how e-commerce works and love convincing people to take their business online, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential sellers (retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, etc.) across various product categories.
  • Pitch the benefits of selling on JioMart and explain the onboarding process.
  • Handle face-to-face meetings and presentations to business owners.
  • Gather required documents and complete seller registration on the platform.
  • Provide training on how to use JioMart seller tools (catalog management, inventory updates, pricing, etc.).
  • Act as a point of contact for the seller during the initial onboarding phase.
  • Track and report daily/weekly acquisition metrics.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (local language + English/Hindi preferred).
  • Proven experience in field sales or B2B sales.
  • Confident in convincing and negotiation skills.
  • Highly curious and passionate about e-commerce and online business models.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 0–1 years of experience in seller/vendor acquisition, retail sales, or e-commerce sales.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, or Meesho is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
