Refund & Cancellation Policy

GigsTM strives to ensure a fair and transparent process for all financial transactions between Clients and Giggers. This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs how disputes, cancellations, and refunds are handled on the platform.

1. Client Cancellations & Refunds

Before Gig Commences: If a Client cancels a gig before the Gigger has started any work or before the agreed start time, the Client is eligible for a full refund, excluding any non-refundable payment gateway processing fees.
After Gig Commences: Once a Gigger has begun work, cancellations are generally not eligible for a full refund. Refunds in this stage will be prorated based on the work already completed, subject to mutual agreement between the Client and Gigger.

2. Gigger Cancellations

If a Gigger accepts a gig but fails to deliver or cancels the gig without completing the work, the Client will receive a full refund of any escrowed or advance funds paid for that specific gig. Repeated cancellations by a Gigger may result in account suspension.

3. Dispute Resolution & Mediation

In the event that a Client is dissatisfied with the work delivered, or if there is a disagreement over payment, either party can raise a "Dispute" through the GigsTM support system.
- GigsTM will act as a neutral mediator to review evidence (chat logs, work submissions, requirements).
- Based on our review, GigsTM holds the final authority to release funds to the Gigger or issue a refund (partial or full) to the Client.

4. Non-Refundable Fees

Platform service fees, subscription charges (if any), and background verification fees paid to GigsTM are strictly non-refundable once the service has been initiated.

5. Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the funds to reflect in your bank account or credit card statement, depending on your financial institution.
